Originally the Taiwanese band “Dream Girls” was scheduled to perform at this show but the group canceled its trip to Tokyo amidst ongoing political tensions between Japan and China. Forced to come up with an alternative, designers Naoto Joga and Hiroto Tamaki opted for a dance performance. Models walked the short runway in orange jersey shift dresses with gathered and draped details, skirt suits with origami fabric folds that revealed contrasting colors, and ruffled satin party dresses. After this, a group of performers in rose print dresses danced and lip synched to an upbeat swing song. In another scene, a model playing the part of a drunk party girl, stumbled across the stage in a frilly burgundy dress carrying one shoe in her hand.
