A black pin-striped flared hem dress set the tone for Alexandre Herchcovitch’s moody spring collection. He constructed dresses by piecing together strings of fabric, resulting in a segmented effect. It was most successful in a short-sleeve, below-the-knee number in a micro ikat print with a chiffon overlay skirt. In a creative twist,  some sleeveless looks appeared as if a matching coat was tacked on to the back, cape-style.
