Inspired by her native Detroit, Ann Yee said she looked to the “spirit of the city as it moves toward transformation.” This was translated with an easy collection based on architecture, colorblocking and texture. There was a color-blocked shirt and matching skirt with exposed zipper details, and a perforated faux leather and tweed dress. But what really stood out were the lightweight open-knit motifs shown on everything from metallic zip-front cardigans to a slew of cropped tops.
