After laying the groundwork, and securing some high-profile retailers (Barneys New York, Harrods, Kirna Zabête) with her first two seasons of sophisticated nonchalance, Sylvie Millstein wanted to “inject more fashion” into her spring collection. A reflection of her French roots, the lineup was a deft mix of laid-back and luxurious, with standout pieces ranging from basics, like silk satin camisoles and a mariner striped slipdress, to more specialty items, such as a beautiful off-the-shoulder silk georgette blouse with dramatic blouson sleeves.
