“Escape, even if it is just in your mind” was creative director Deborah Lloyd’s vision for spring. To that end, the Kate Spade gal took a few trips, making Paris her first stop. Looking to chic French gardens, there was a trellis print on a peplum top with cigarette pants, and an abstract floral motif à la Giverny.

Capri was next with “The Talented Mr. Ripley” as a main influence. The Fifties fare included a full-skirted sundress in a lemon print (an homage to limoncello) and gold brocade tunic tops paired with pants cut to capri lengths.

Monaco was last, where yachts and the Grand Prix races, respectively, gave way to bold nautical stripes on a shantung dress and motifs like a zippered placard on a dress and a checkerboard on a clutch.
