Now in her third season, Marissa Webb for spring focused on the evolution of her brand by “elaborating on my own personal aesthetic and what a woman would want,” she said. “Nothing’s too costumey.” So Webb sent out a tight lineup of great clothes for real life, with each item able to stand on its own. For the girly-girl there was a pink sashed petal top and full skirt, both in a stiff silk that held shape beautifully, as well as a delicate red chiffon dress and flirty strapless numbers worn over crisp shirts with neckties. Then things toughened up with a touch of military via a fatigue moto jacket and pants with leather insets. But her strongest pieces were the tweeds, especially the minidress over leather shorts.
