John Patrick stuck to his tried-and-true formula of tactile organic cottons and silks cut in classic shapes, this time adding some glamorous elements inspired by Michelangelo Antonioni’s 1960 film “L’avventura.” Big circle skirts and sheer, superfine knits were the main looks, shown alongside understated separates that included wispy voile dresses and wide-leg pants with boxy trenches. A sheer ivory pencil skirt topped with a matching sweater gave the collection an unusual sexy stride.
