Leonard’s signature prints could use a fresh eye. The house’s creative director Raffaele Borriello employed a mix of floral patterns — abstract as well as straightforward, harking back to Tiffany stained glass motifs — in an approach that was well intended but looked dated when splashed all over a peplum dress, plunging-neck jumpsuit and trailing pencil skirt.  

The sharpest number was a georgette blouse tucked neatly into a long siren skirt, both done in a dainty polkadot print. The look demonstrated a youthful effortlessness that was missing from the rest of the lineup.
