Designer Masha Ma turned to graphic artist Neville Brody for visual support this season. The geometric motifs they created, inspired by visual renderings of sound waves, looked fresh and modern on a series of body-conscious silhouettes. High-waisted pencil skirts with long zippers in front or back were at the center of the collection, which was based on a palette of white, black and turquoise. Items were occasionally embroidered with crystals so fine they could be mistaken for metallic patches. The skirts were juxtaposed with turtleneck bustiers, bulky tops and, as in one instance, a cropped leather bomber that looked ultralight with its paperlike cutouts.
