The pieces featured strips of fine suede bonded to their fronts, which were inspired, the designers said, by the graphics of news videos. The duo used the same textures for a straight-cut parka and varsity-like jacket, telegraphing a cool yet carefree streetwear attitude.

As for color, several flowery prints were done on silk chiffon. Bonded to the inner side of masculine coatdresses in stiff Japanese uniform cotton, the patterns added a nice contrast.
