For spring, Christian Dada designer Masanori Morikawa presented a collection heavy on his signature black with flourishes of embroidery. But the clothes were hardly the big news on the runway — it was iconic rock band Kiss that stole the show. The band, in town for a Japan tour, walked the runway in full concert regalia, with Paul Stanley the only member who sported a look from the collection — a gold metallic coat.

As for other looks shown before the tongue-waving antics, there was a selection of jackets with a military vibe for men and vampy short dresses and skirts for women. A couple pieces in gold lamé, including a vest and a pair of wide-leg trousers, punctuated the show.
