Escada’s spring lineup was named Fashion Floraculture, and fashion director Daniel Wingate indeed worked florals with high frequency in a variety of ways, from bold to subtle. Standouts included a languid cashmere and viscose caftan featuring flowers in a black and purple pattern, as well as a high-resolution hibiscus print worked on a black silk skirt, which was paired with a bubble-knit viscose top. Elsewhere, Wingate rendered the theme via fil coupe, hand embroidery and leather appliqué buds and stems.
