Sandra Choi stands by her belief that “nature doesn’t get it wrong.” So it's no surprise that this season's design cues come from two of nature's best: the orchid and hummingbird. She created a notable collection of shoes and bags that beg the audience to “stop and smell the flowers” — something the Jimmy Choo creative director feels there's not enough of in today’s world. Elements of both were seen in the bags and shoes. A leather floral appliqué and organic twig-shaped straps were more literal, while a plastic and leather paillette pattern on an ankle strap recalled a bird feather. Particularly stunning were ombré-colored sequined pumps with crystal toe embellishments meant to mimic the hummingbird.
