Designer Danielle DiFerdinando is bringing some “Harry Potter chic” to accessories. In partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, DiFerdinando has created a “Harry Potter x Danielle Nicole” capsule collection of embellished, whimsical clutches, backpacks and pouches. “What I love about the Harry Potter series is that it speaks across generations and cultures,” said DiFerdinando, founder and designer of the Danielle Nicole brand. She’s designed 11 styles bearing images from the series, among them the Bolt Backpack, which shows Harry’s signature round glasses, the Luna Backpack in tweed with Harry’s spectrespecs, and four clutches based on the Hogwarts Houses. The collection, priced from $38 to $98, launches Friday on Danielle-nicole.com. DiFerdinando said the products, like the Potter series, embody “a sense of wonder.”
