MILAN — Marcolin and Harley-Davidson have extended their international licensing agreement for eyewear until the end of 2018.

Harley-Davidson originally signed a deal for the design, production and distribution of its sunglasses and optical frames with the North American eyewear manufacturer in 1994.

Since Viva International’s acquisition by Marcolin in December 2013, the license has been operated by the Italian eyewear powerhouse.

Harley-Davidson is only one of Viva’s brands that passed under Marcolin’s control.  The list also includes Gant by Michael Bastian, Guess by Marciano, Bongo, Candie’s, Catherine Deneuve, Gant, Gant Rugger, Guess, Rampage, Skechers, William Rast, Viva, Magic Clip and Saavy. The labels were added to the wide range of luxury and premium brands in Marcolin’s portfolio, such as Tom Ford, Balenciaga, Montblanc, Roberto Cavalli, Tod’s, Swarovski, DSquared2, Diesel, Just Cavalli and Ermenegildo Zegna, along with house brands Marcolin, National and Web.
