LONG HAUL: Marcolin SpA and the Iconix Brand Group have extended their licensing agreement for the design, production, and distribution of Iconix labels Candie’s, Bongo and Rampage. The deal, signed for an undisclosed sum, extends the two entities’ partnership until the year 2020. The two firms began their partnership in 2008, when Iconix licensed its eyewear to the Viva International Group — which was acquired by Marcolin in 2013.

In 2014, Marcolin reports that it sold over 14 million pairs of glasses produced through its various licenses with a diverse portfolio of brands including Tom Ford and Guess.
