MILAN — Montblanc and Marcolin Group have renewed the license for the design, production and worldwide distribution of the luxury brand’s eyewear collections through December 2018.
The contract was renewed well ahead of its expiration date at the end of 2016, consolidating the partnership between the two companies that had started in 2001.
“Montblanc is a worldwide and prestigious brand in the luxury market, consistent with the history and the attitude of ‘Atelier’ that has always distinguished our company. Renewing the licensing agreement between Marcolin and Montblanc is very rewarding to us,” said Marcolin chief executive officer Giovanni Zoppas.
“Marcolin has been a great partner, and we are excited to announce the renewal of our cooperation,” said Montblanc international ceo Jérôme Lambert. “We look forward to working with them to introduce new designs and further grow our business in this important category.”
Marcolin manufactures and distributes the eyewear collections of a range of international brands, including Tom Ford, Balenciaga, Ermenegildo Zegna, Roberto Cavalli, Emilio Pucci, Dsquared2 and Guess, among others.
