MILAN — Swarovski and Marcolin Group have renewed their license agreement for the design, production and worldwide distribution of the Swarovski and Atelier Swarovski eyewear collections through December 2023.
The partnership between the Austrian house and the Italian eyewear specialist dates back to 2011, when the first Swarovski eyewear collection was launched.
“This renewal agreement highlights the willingness of both companies to develop a long-term strategy for the further growth and internationalization of the brand,” said Marcolin Group chief executive officer Massimo Renon, who recently succeeded Giovanni Zoppas in the role, in a statement on Tuesday.
Last October, Zoppas became executive vice chairman of the group and was appointed ceo of Thelios, the joint venture between LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton and Marcolin.
Marcolin also manufactures and distributes eyewear collections of a range of international fashion labels, including Tom Ford, Balenciaga, Moncler, Ermenegildo Zegna, Emilio Pucci, Diesel and Guess.
