MILAN — Cédric Charlier will unveil a footwear collection under a two-year contract with Michel Vivien during Paris Fashion Week next month.
The line, under the Charlier-Vivien moniker, will comprise four main styles and be produced in Italy.
“This collection was born when friendship met creativity,” said Charlier. “I am honored to share the same aesthetic passion and savoir-faire of great value and quality with Michel.”
Vivien has worked over the year with brands including Lanvin, Charles Jourdan and Sergio Rossi. In addition to his collaborations, he has created haute couture styles for Alexander McQueen for Givenchy, John Galliano for Dior and Yves Saint Laurent.
The first Charlier-Vivien collection will debut on March 2, during the Cédric Charlier’s fall runway show, which will take place in Paris at Le Pavillon Cambon Capucine.
The Cédric Charlier apparel line is produced and distributed by Aeffe SpA.
