LONDON — Patrick Cox is making a return to the accessories sphere with a new collection — dubbed Lathbridge — which he’s set to preview in Paris during the men’s collections next week.

The collection takes its name from Cox’s middle name, and is inspired by “traditional British heritage with a flavor of the Seventies,” according to the new label, which will offer footwear and accessories for men and women.

Cox, whose Wannabe loafers were a hit in the Nineties, eventually left his namesake label after the business changed hands a number of times. He’s since made a foray back into footwear by designing a collection for Geox, which launched in 2011.

Cox is slated to hold previews for the Lathbridge collection at the Rainbowave showroom in Paris, from Jan. 23 through 30.
