Blufin Spa has signed a four-year licensing agreement with La Compagnia delle Pelli SpA for the production and worldwide distribution of Blumarine Handbags. The collection was previously manufactured in-house.
The first collection will bow for spring 2017 and will include a larger and more differentiated offer of bags as well as small leather goods.
“We are very proud of this new agreement between Blufin and La Compagnia delle Pelli,” said Gianguido Tarabini, sole administrator of Blufin, parent company of the Blumarine and Blugirl labels. “This will allow the development of an important growth project for the Blumarine label aimed at boosting the distribution through Compagnia delle Pelli’s existing synergies on the international markets.”
“We are sure that the combination of our experience in the leather compartment with Blumarine’s stylistic tradition and values will bring satisfying results for both the parts,” said Giuseppe Bettinelli, president of La Compagnia delle Pelli.
La Compagnia delle Pelli also manufactures and distributes leather collections for brands including Cavalli Class and La Martina.
