Cynthia Rowley and MZ Wallace have collaborated on a floral Metro Tote.

MZ Wallace has teamed with Cynthia Rowley on a limited-edition Metro Tote to benefit the CFDA Foundation.

Rowley’s signature floral prints have been applied to MZ Wallace’s popular Metro Tote, to create the summer carryall. The bag retails for $215.

After becoming members of the CFDA last year, Monica Zwirner and Lucy Wallace Eustice, cofounders of MZ Wallace, approached Rowley about collaborating on a bag to benefit the CFDA Foundation, whose mission is to support the future of fashion through scholarships and mentorship.

“One of the pleasures of owning our company is supporting causes we believe in through our MZW Gives Back program,” said Zwirner. “We usually partner with a third-party and in this case we asked Cynthia who is a master of prints. We knew she would deliver something really fun.”

Rowley noted that she’s been a fan of MZ Wallace and was “art world friends” with Zwirner so was happy to collaborate on a project that benefits the CFDA.

The Cynthia Rowley x MZ Wallace Metro Tote will launch June 6 in a limited edition of 200. The tote will be available at all MZ Wallace and Cynthia Rowley stores, as well as online at MZWallace.com and CynthiaRowley.com. All proceeds will benefit the CFDA Foundation.
