Baccarat will introduce its first pop-up boutique, a 480-square-foot retail space on Bleecker Street in New York’s West Village, on Tuesday. The shop will stay open through Dec. 31.
The space, at 371 Bleecker Street, will be converted into a grab-and-go destination for giftables during the holiday shopping season. The shop will feature an oversize Baccarat gift box in the lifestyle brand’s signature ruby red color. The offerings include barware, stemware, home decor, lighting, table accessories, fashion accessories and the new capsule collection by jewelry designer Marie-Hélène de Taillac.
Jim Shreve, president of Baccarat USA, said, “We look forward to presenting this curated gifting collection to our customers as well as introducing beautiful Gits in a Red Box to new customers.” The shop will also feature some prestige pieces.
On Thursday, Baccarat will host a Champagne reception to celebrate the opening of the pop-up boutique, with a portion of the evening’s sales benefiting the U.S. Fund for UNICEF.
Baccarat is a designer, manufacturer and retailer of luxury crystal products. The company, whose manufacturing base is in Baccarat in the Lorraine region of eastern France, is distributed in 89 countries. The company is known for its Baccarat crystal, ranging from lighting to tableware, decorative objects, jewelry and bottle manufacturing.
