Ella Balinska

Cartier has tapped actress Ella Balinska as the newest face and brand ambassador of its Panthère de Cartier collection, WWD has exclusively learned.

The English actress most recently made a splash in the” Charlie’s Angels” reboot — Balinska’s first lead role — which was directed by Elizabeth Banks, who starred along with Kristen Stewart and Naomi Scott.

Next up, Balinska will be seen in the Blumhouse Production’s horror thriller film: “Run Sweetheart Run.”

The addition of Balinska to the french jeweler’s stable continues a Hollywood narrative the Compagnie Financière Richemont-owned house took in 2018, naming Annabelle Wallis as a brand ambassador of the Panthère de Cartier collection and Jake Gyllenhaal as the face of the Santos de Cartier collection.

In September Cartier launched a new campaign in the form of a series of films on various elements of its background, including its links with Russia, with Britain, the role of the panther, its ties with the East and its legendary creative director Jeanne Toussaint.

The Cartier Panthère jewelry motif originated in 1914, with the Panthère de Cartier watch launched in the Eighties and is a staple in the Cartier watch collection alongside the Tank, Santos de Cartier and Ballon Bleu De Cartier.
