The annual jewelry show kicks off today with a show that has added some time to it. Couture Time, that is — a special watch segment which has expanded timepiece offerings, in the hope of catching additional business and retailers post-Basel. Even so, the shopping-for-myself customer is still key for most jewelers, and brands such as Anita Ko, Pamela Love and Jemma Wynne are among the participants who cater to the fashion-fine consumer. Stylistically speaking, animal motifs and colorful gemstone combos will reign.
The Couture Show, which takes place at the Wynn Hotel, runs through June 6th.
