The Danielle Nicole handbag and accessories brand has signed a licensing deal with International Inspirations to create contemporary jewelry collections beginning with spring 2016.

“This is our next step in building a lifestyle brand for Danielle Nicole,” said Danielle DiFerdinando, the chief executive officer and designer of Danielle Nicole.

International Inspirations, a costume jewelry and fashion accessories company founded in 2005 by Mandy and Shaya Reiter, owns fashion jewelry brands Noir and Lux Accessories.”With the proven success of her prior collections and her excellent brand name, we feel that Noir is positioned to really take the jewelry collections to the next level with our expertise in design, distribution and production,” said Shaya Reiter.

DiFerdinando started her handbag business in her college dorm room in 2007 at the age of 18. Three years later, it was bought by Artisan House. Danielle Nicole jewelry has been around for about a year through a collaboration with Capwell. Since the jewelry was launched last spring, DiFerdinando said there’s been strong demand for the product, leading to the decision to sign with International Inspirations to expedite growth.

The jewelry, like the Danielle Nicole handbags, has both “attainable prices under $100 and a contemporary esthetic,” DiFerdinando said. She also cited hardware, materials and colors similar to her handbag collection. With International Inspirations, there will be four collections a year, featuring semiprecious stones including white Howlite, Unakite, Line Rhodonite, Black Agate, Lapis/Sodalite, as well as clean lines and “unique, modern and contemporary shapes.” There will be 50 to 75 pieces per collection, ranging from statement and layered necklaces, to cuffs, rings, earrings and other items.

“Mandy and Shaya understand my vision and encourage my creative process,” DiFerdinando said.

Her jewelry is currently sold in Macy’s, HSN, NastyGal, Amazon and ModCloth and will launch on this spring. Danielle Nicole handbags are sold in Cusp by Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, HSN and Macy’s, among other retailers.
