Jason of Beverly Hills has been commissioned to create the 2015 NBA Championship rings for the Golden State Warriors.
The team defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers in June to bring the Larry O’Brien Trophy back to the Bay Area for the first time in 40 years. As a result, Warriors owners Joe Lacob and Peter Guber selected the Los Angeles native to create the ring.
“We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Jason of Beverly Hills on the creation of our championship rings,” said Warriors assistant general manager Kirk Lacob. “These rings will serve as lifelong reminders of our record-breaking journey to the title for our players, coaches and staff and will be something each member of our organization will forever treasure. The meticulous attention to detail in the custom design process exemplified by Jason of Beverly Hills will result in a ring that represents our team, region and history in a unique manner.”
“We are honored to have been picked by the Warriors to create this piece of history. We were excited for the opportunity to challenge ourselves again with another cutting-edge design, and we look forward to creating a ring that will be talked about in sports circles for generations, ” said Jason Arasheben, chief executive officer of Jason of Beverly Hills.
This is the third time the jeweler has created an NBA Championship ring. The design will be unveiled at the Warriors’ home opener on Oct. 27.
