Hollywood-style bling is making its way to Tokyo.

Jason of Beverly Hills, a brand known for its one-of-a-kind diamond creations and celebrity clientele, is preparing to open its first international store in Tokyo’s Ginza district in April.

Jason of Beverly Hills has produced three NBA world championship rings and custom pieces for the likes of Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Chris Brown, Jessica Alba, Justin Bieber and Dwyane Wade.

“[T]here is a thirst in Japan for rebellious fashion forward luxury pieces. We know our unique mentality toward design will be a fresh perspective in the luxury market. Japan was the perfect choice for our first international location,” the retailer said.

Jason of Beverly Hills is the latest brand bringing its California cachet to Japan. Ron Herman opened its first outpost in Japan in 2011 and Fred Segal opened its first store in the country last year.

Tourist flows to Japan have helped support the country’s retail business of late, although Japanese consumers themselves are still exercising caution when it comes to spending. Japanese retail sales fell 1.1 percent in December, marking their second straight month of declines. Ginza is a key shopping destination for visitors to Japan.
