HERE TO STAY: Moynat is taking root.

The heritage brand, revived in 2011 by Bernard Arnault, is setting up a permanent shops-in-shop at Galeries Lafayette, where it previously had a small pop-up.

Designed by Gwenaël Nicolas, the new 380-square-foot unit on the first floor of the Paris department store is slated to open on Dec. 12. It will offer the luxury brand’s collection of small leather goods and handbags, including the Pauline, Réjane, Ballerine and Cabotin, as well as some exclusive styles designed by the house, whose roots date back to 1849.

Moynat currently operates five flagships in Paris, London, Hong Kong and Beijing, in addition to two shops-in-shops in Paris.
