The temporary shop carries a selection of new watches from Omega, including Speedmasters, Seamasters, Constellations and De Villes, and vintage pieces from the Omega museum. The pop-up is Hodinkee’s third, following openings in Los Angeles and New York City in 2018, and is the company’s first pop-up with another brand.
Hodinkee is subleasing the space from Supreme, which relocated to 190 Bowery earlier this year while the Lafayette space is being renovated.
Omega currently operates two boutiques in New York City at Fifth Avenue and Brookfield Place, and has a presence in SoHo at Watches of Switzerland (60 Greene Street).
“Omega is one of the most respected names in the watch industry, and we are thrilled to be offering a selection of modern watches in the Hodinkee shop,” said Hodinkee chief commercial officer Russell Kelly.
Raynald Aeschlimann, president and chief executive officer of Omega, added, “Hodinkee has built a fantastic relationship with watch fans around the world and their passion for the industry is always clear. Omega is very pleased to be partnering with the brand and sharing our iconic timepieces in a new and exciting way.”
