It’s a changing of the guard: Patek Philippe has appointed Lisa Jones as president of the Henri Stern Watch Agency, Inc, the American branch of its business.
Jones succeeds Larry Pettinelli, who had served as president since 2007 — rising to the company’s top ranks after first joining the firm in 1988. A company spokesperson says Pettinelli, “is leaving to embark on the next phase of his career.”
Jones first joined Patek Philippe some 16 years ago, wearing various hats including public relations, sales and marketing. She was most recently HSWA’s vice president, presiding over the company’s commercial activities.
Hank Edelman, chairman of the board for the Henri Stern Watch Agency, said of the change: “Patek Philippe is a rare company that has been able to stay true to its ideals and stay independent for 180 years. With her passion for our brand and her understanding of the American market, Lisa Jones is the right person to lead the company and sustain the quality and innovation that has defined us all these years.”
Jones said of her appointment: “I look forward to continuing to strengthen the company’s culture of innovation. Having spent close to two decades developing strong commercial relationships within the market, I am confident the future and values of the Henri Stern Watch Agency will remain unrivaled.”
