Aaron de Mey, who led the makeup for Jill Stuart Beauty, created an ombré eye that juxtaposed bright pastel colors. “It’s kind of a rainbow,” he said. “We’re trying to keep it Nineties and cool.” Inspired by dancers, de Mey had half of the models wear a purple and green eye shadow, while the other half wore blue and coral. More emphasis was added to the eyes with a fine black eyeliner and mascara, which gave the eyes more strength. A light highlight was also added to the models’ cheekbones to create some luminosity.
