Julien Macdonald’s muse this season was a cross between Carine Roitfeld and Kate Moss — undone, disheveled and cool.
“They are party girls,” said Val Garland, working with L’Oréal Paris. Focusing on eyes, she achieved a dramatic winged effect using Color Riche Matte 100 shadow and Super Liner in Black ‘n’ Sculpt, softening the line with the smudge pad of Super Liner in Smokissime.
Dark-haired girls had flecks of gold pigment in the inner corners of their eyes, while blondes got silver. Lashes were slicked with False Lash Sculpt Mascara and lips washed with Infallible Matte Max in a peachy Silencio shade.
Hairstylist Syd Hayes, also working with L’Oréal Paris, ran Studio/Pro Curve It Curl Mousse through the lengths — using a diffuser and his fingers for a wavy textured look — and fixed it with Lock It Fixing Hair Spray. He used the same products for the 13 boys in the show to shape and hold hair under their visors.
