MILAN – Beauty and Luxury, a distributor of luxury beauty brands such as Balmain, Burberry and Lanvin in Italy, said Tuesday that it has created a new division, called B&L Alta Profumeria, focusing on high perfumery.
It is debuting with labels including Min New York, Thirdman, Ulrich Lang New York and Deborah Lippmann in very selective distribution in concept stores and niche perfumeries.
Peter Gladel, chief executive officer and a partner at Beauty and Luxury, said the new division allows the company to tap into a burgeoning segment.
The division’s development will be led by Paolo Begotti, who has focused on fragrances for 25 years at companies including Procter & Gamble and Coty Inc.’s prestige division.
“B&L Alta Profumeria combines my passion for exclusive brands with a love for projects and products of excellence that are related to consumers on an emotional and evocative level,” said Begotti.
