LOVE, LASHES, AND LIPSTICK

Celebrity makeup artist Mally Roncal spoke at the WWD Digital Forum about the importance of connecting with customers via personal anecdotes. So it comes as no surprise that her first book, Love, Lashes, and Lipstick: My Secrets for a Gorgeous, Happy Life (Ballantine Books, $25) is part tips and tricks, part memoir. Out in late September, it’s filled with step-by-step lessons and intimate stories whose subjects range from Roncal’s mother to her famous clients like Beyoncé.
