While some designers kept their beauty looks subtle, i.e. Gucci’s neutral canvas, others looked to make a statement. Case in point: Givenchy’s horned, mud-colored cat eye. During the spring collections in Europe, an array of brands clung to trends like youthful glowing skin, lightly textured hair, singular standout details and a variety of braids. Fashion may have been in the spotlight, but beauty was definitely not second best.
