Mäurer & Wirtz’s classic German cologne 4711 has a new, younger sister. The scent, Nouveau Cologne, will be feted at a July 4 launch party at Berlin’s hip pool-in-the-river Badeschiff. Actress Jana Pallaske (“Inglourious Basterds,” “Speed Racer”) will take a spin as DJ, and German soul diva Joy Denalane will sing. A fashion show from an as-yet-unnamed local rising designer is on tap.

Those wishing to take home a beauty souvenir from the German capital might want to turn to natural cosmetics company i+m, which has launched a line commemorating its home city. The i+m Berlin range includes shower gel ($13) and body lotion (about $12) in 250-ml. sizes, and a 50-ml. hand cream ($8.50), and can be found in the Berlin brand of Galeries Lafayette (Friedrichstrasse 76-78), in natural perfumery and beauty shops such as Rosavelle (Schönhauser Allee 10) and in organic food stores across the city.

The mandarin orange-scented line contains fair trade shea butter from Uganda and fair trade argan oil from Morocco, and the packaging bears an image of Berlin’s skyline that shows the evolving yet historic city, including the Gothic Oberbaum bridge and the iconic TV tower rising up from Alexanderplatz, as well as the city’s Baroque cathedral — and ever-present construction cranes in the background.

If the stress of fashion week has your nose bent out of shape, Berlin-based perfume line April Aromatics could get you back into calm condition. The concept was developed by Elite Agency model Tanja Bochnig, who has been shot by Patrick Demarchelier and Gilles Bensimon for numerous editorials and ad campaigns for Dior, La Perla and Pantene.

After training as a yoga instructor and perfumer, Bochnig blended the two in Aromayoga, which uses essential oils in harmony with poses. From there, it was a natural extension to create April Aromatics, which features room and body sprays in Rose Bouquet, Lavender, Mountain Air, Indian Forest and Citrus Sorbet ($31.50), crystal-infused perfumes in Precious Woods, Rose L’Orange, Lindenblossom, Jasmina, Spring Dreams, Nectar of Love and Spice Blend ($86) and blended oils, including a 7 Chakra Oil Set ($229).
