NEW YORK — Lancôme’s Ross Burton has scored a new gig.
Burton, the brand’s national artistic director since 2002, has been promoted to assistant vice president of makeup artistry. He will report to Joan Poulton, vice president of education for Lancôme.
In his new role, Burton will be responsible for overseeing Lancôme’s national makeup artist program and for developing strategic initiatives — including in-store events — in this arena. The team will report to Burton. As well, he will work with the brand’s U.S. marketing team and with the brand’s international artistic director, Gucci Westman, to develop color cosmetics collections.
An 18-year Lancôme veteran, Burton began his career as a beauty adviser for the brand at Macy’s Herald Square, and has also served as the brand’s national makeup artist for the East Coast.
