BEAUTY KUDOS: Chanel makeup artist Mary Greenwell was honored with a lifetime accolade at the 14th annual CEW U.K. Achiever Awards on Monday.

The annual event, run by Cosmetic Executive Women U.K., honors beauty industry figures.

“I have a makeup artist’s dream life. I will continue. And I’m not stopping,” said Greenwell during the event at Jumeirah Carlton Tower in Knightsbridge.

The veteran British makeup artist has a celebrity client list that includes Cate Blanchett, Jessica Chastain, Amanda Seyfried and Felicity Jones, and has collaborated with brands including Chanel, Tom Ford, Estée Lauder, SK-II and Sensai.

A short video featured fellow makeup artists Lisa Eldridge, Jemma Kidd, Sam McKnight and Charlotte Tilbury — who scooped two awards earlier this year — offering their greetings to Greenwell. In the video, Blanchett said: “I don’t know a single human being who is as generous and continually creative, as forceful and forthright, that is as kind and loving as you are.”

The event saw a mix of big brands and independent companies walk away with prizes.

Other award winners included Margaret Attwooll, general manager at Parfums Christian Dior; Sarah Brown, founder of Pai Skincare; Vasiliki Petrou, senior vice president at Unilever Prestige, and Geraldine Howard, chairman and founder of Aromatherapy Associates.

British Vogue publishing director Stephen Quinn nabbed the Special Industry award, while Benefit Cosmetics head of public relations Kyra Oates walked home with the CEW Members award. Look Fabulous Forever founder and managing director Tricia Cusden scooped the Digital award.
