Makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury is readying her first U.S. storefront.
The shop is set to open at The Grove in Los Angeles in summer 2019. The goal is to bring the Charlotte Tilbury shopping experience closer to U.S. consumers.
“With all of my Beauty Wonderlands I have designed them to completely revolutionize and disrupt the way people shop, they are beauty playgrounds for everyone from 18 to 80,” Tilbury said in a statement. “When you walk through the doors, I want you to feel like you are literally stepping into my world. A world full of beauty zones, from rock ‘n’ roll and Hollywood to fashion and magic, each created to make you dream and make your beauty dreams come true.”
The space will include multisensory activations, elements of “retail theater” and educational content, according to the company.
Charlotte Tilbury entered the U.S. in 2014 in the department store channel, with Bergdorf Goodman and Nordstrom. The brand later expanded and is now sold on Net-a-porter, Bloomingdale’s and Sephora, as well.
