This season’s fashion week is seeing a slew of pop-ups geared to the beauty enthusiast to generate buzz for shows, offer sensorial experiences and give attendees a respite from their busy schedules. Here, a look at eight beauty pop-ups to check out this fashion week.
Green beauty retailer, Detox Market, is hosting a series of events at its New York flagship aimed at offering customers a “recharge from fashion week.” Starting Monday, the store is offering free services, like manicures by non-toxic nail brand, Kure Bazaar, a Moon Juice alchemy bar with moon dust lattes and smoothies and gua sha facials by natural skin-care brand Odacité. The space will also host a panel on “How to Detox Your Life,” guided meditations and self-care tips.
The Detox Market “Recharge From Fashion Week” pop-up will be open from Sept. 10 to 14 at 76 East Houston Street.

In celebration of its new Dior Backstage makeup collection, Dior is hosting its first U.S. pop-up shop at the Oculus. Each day of the pop-up will be hosted by an influencer, including Marianna Hewitt, Desi Perkins, Charlotte Groeneveld and Dior makeup artist Daniel Martin, who has gotten a surge of popularity after doing Meghan Markle’s royal wedding makeup. “Besides being a creative outlet, makeup brings people together,” he said. “That’s the most fun of all!”

Blushington X Project by Equinox
Partnering with beauty brands Erborian and Côte, Blushington is bringing its beauty bar to Project by Equinox to showcase the latest beauty trends. During fashion week, customers will receive 10 percent off a curated assortment of products from female founded beauty brands and can enjoy services like makeup applications, manicures and dry hairstyling.
The Blushington X Project Equinox pop-up will be open from Sept. 6 to 30 at 267 Mulberry Street.
Returning as the hair-care sponsor of New York Fashion Week, TRESemmé will be hosting another pop-up at Spring Studios to offer attendees complimentary dry styling appointments. The professional stylists will be offering an array of styles, ranging from braids to blowouts.
The TRESemmé pop-up will be open from Sept. 6 to 12 at 6 St. Johns Lane.
Chillhouse X CND
For fashion week, professional nail brand CND is teaming up with Chillhouse to offer runway inspired manicures. Directly after the Libertine and The Blonds shows, CND re-created the nail art seen in those shows using the brand’s spring 2019 polishes. The pop-up will also be a sneak peek at Chillhouse’s fall service menu.
The Chillhouse X CND pop-up will be open from Sept. 6 to Sept. 13 at 149 Essex Street.
Pantene, Revlon and Dr. Jart+ at 29Rooms
Refinery29 is returning its popular 29Rooms experience to Brooklyn this fashion week, including three rooms hosted by beauty brands. Inspired by the many textures and colors of hair, Pantene’s activation is a sensorial experience that evokes the joy of a great hair day. Revlon is betting big on color for its room by taking guests through the creation of three new lipstick shades. Korean skin-care brand Dr. Jart+ is creating a lab to give guests a glimpse into its fusion of science and art.
29Rooms will be open from Sept. 6 to 16 at 588 Baltic Street.
Capri Blue at Christian Siriano Show
At Christian Sirano’s upcoming show, fragrance brand Capri Blue will be hosting a scent bar backstage to give guests the chance to try out the brand’s scent assortment. The 15 feet long bar will include diffusers, hand cream and candles so that guests can try the brand’s 18 scents in different formats.
The Capri Blue scent bar will be open on Sept. 8 at 4 p.m. at Gotham Hall.
To celebrate the launch of its in-house brand, Urban Outfitters is hosting a pop-up to introduce its customers to Ohii Beauty. The three-day pop-up will let customers test the full assortment from the natural beauty line, which includes makeup, skin care and hair care, before the brand officially launches on Sept. 10.
The Ohii Beauty pop-up will be open from Sept. 7 to 9 at 213 Bowery Street.
