EXTRACTS RELOCATES: The management team for Extracts, a trade show for aromatherapy, fragrance and personal care, will relocate to Los Angeles from White Plains, N.Y. Public relations, advertising, operations and attendee registration will continue to be run from George Little Management Co.’s office in White Plains. This change was prompted, in part, by the promotion of Aubin Wilson, group manager for Extracts, to show director for the California Gift Show. Wilson will continue to serve as manager for Extracts, held semiannually in Manhattan. The 11th semiannual edition of Extracts will take place April 12-15, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
RAMY SKIN CARE: Ramy Gafni is expanding beyond cosmetics with a three-item skin care line that’s bowing today at Bergdorf Goodman and online at ramybeautytherapy.com. The line includes Miracle Matte!, an antishine liquid designed to keep faces shine-free for up to 12 hours; Vitamin C Serum, a formula that contains 5 percent vitamin C to even out skin tone and reduce fine lines; and Gafni’s hero product, Youth! Firming Mask and Serum, which aims to instantly firm and tone skin after just 10 to 20 minutes of application. Initial results for Youth! have been so good that a Youth! Body Serum is in the works, Gafni said. First-year sales of the skin care trio are expected to reach $2 million. Miracle Matte! retails for $35; Vitamin C Serum, $30, and Youth!, $40.
DOVE WIPES: This month Dove is launching new Dove Body Refreshers, premoistened, lightly fragranced sheets designed to freshen up on the go. The new disposable product fits into a pocket or a purse. Each sheet contains Dove’s one-quarter moisturizer, alcohol-free formula. In-store promotions and print advertising will target women aged 25 to 49. A national sampling campaign begins in April. Dove Body Refreshers costs $2.99 for a 15-sheet pack.

BEE A BAR: Burt’s Bees has expanded on its popular Baby Bee Collection of baby care products with Baby Bee Shampoo Bar. The bar claims to be the “mildest baby shampoo on the market” with ingredients that include oat protein, vegetable glycerin and pro-vitamin B5. Rosebud and buttermilk powder combined with sweet almond oil make up the bar’s light fragrance. The bar retails for $5 at Burt’s Bees retailers, including Whole Food’s Market.
