Kate Moss, Kosé Team Up for Decorté Expansion Effort

Moss will headline a new ad campaign intended to help grow the brand around the world.

Tokyo-based Kosé Corporation is setting its sights on global expansion for its 45-year-old high-tech Cosme Decorté line — with the help of Kate Moss.

In September magazines globally, Moss will begin appearing in a print advertising campaign for the brand, whose name will now be streamlined simply to Decorté. Mario Testino is shooting the images, which feature the Moisture Liposome franchise, said to be the best-selling prestige face serum in Japan, as well as the brand’s new Liposome Treatment Liquid.

The multiyear contract, the brand’s largest advertising effort in its history, will also include pre-release, behind-the-scenes videos to be released online in August.

“During the Decorté brand’s long history, we have established a strong bond and trust with women of Asia,”said Kazutoshi Kobayashi, president of Kosé Corp. “As Decorté starts a new chapter, we are pleased to work with the globally recognized Kate Moss.”
