WASHINGTON — Lindsay Owen-Jones accepted the first Diversity Best Practices’ Global Leadership Award Tuesday here, for L’Oréal’s commitment to fostering corporate diversity initiatives.
“To a large extent, our strength comes from the diversity of our teams,” said Owen-Jones in a statement. “People of all origins and cultures, different ages and levels of experience work together every day, stimulating innovation and fostering personal growth.”
Diversity Best Practices and The Business Women’s Network, which bestowed the award on L’Oréal, are Washington-based organizations providing resources, publications and benchmarking services for diversity and women in business.
