Look Good Feel Better Holds Second Annual Auction With Charitybuzz

The charity, which is expected to raise over $100,000, will help women with cancer improve their self-esteem.

Working with philanthropic auction platform Charitybuzz, Look Good Feel Better has launched its second annual auction to benefit women coping with the side effects of cancer treatment.

The auction, which runs online until May 10, will raise money for the charitable program to continue hosting free workshops for women undergoing cancer treatment. The workshops offer lessons in skin care, hair care, makeup and accessories application to help patients improve their self-esteem and confidence.

“We are truly the only charity that embodies the highest purpose of our beauty industry and the products and services it can provide,” said Nancy Logan, director of corporate partnerships and philanthropy at the Look Good Feel Better Foundation. “[The foundation] is really allowing [patients] to take back that sense of control and confidence when they need it most.”

Look Good Feel Better has 23 items up for sale at the auction that are worth more than $100,000. For unique offerings, the foundation is auctioning various experiences that wouldn’t typically be available. These experiences include tickets to Glamour Magazine’s Women of the Year Awards, a trip to the L’Oréal Paris Women of Worth Celebration, tickets to the InStyle Golden Globes After Party and a trip to the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, among others. Many of these experiences were donated by beauty and fashion companies like Procter & Gamble Co., L’Oréal and Christian Louboutin. The auction is expected to raise more than $100,000 for the foundation.
