L’Oréal USA revealed today the appointment of Gretchen Saegh-Fleming as its chief marketing officer. She will assume the role on May 1.
In a statement from the company, L’Oréal USA said: “[Saegh-Fleming’s] expertise in e-commerce business models, her passion for developing innovations in customer experience and her track record in leading digital transformation will be invaluable as the company continues to accelerate its digital leadership.”
Saegh-Fleming previously worked as senior vice president of digital and marketing at L’Oréal’s luxe division in the U.S. where she led the direct-to-consumer business for the entire prestige brand portfolio, including Lancôme, Yves Saint Laurent Beauté and Urban Decay, among others.
She initially joined L’Oréal USA in 2012 as vice president of e-commerce and digital innovation for the company’s international designer collection brands within the luxe division. During this role, Saegh-Fleming launched an omnichannel e-commerce strategy to engage customers and drove digital transformations for various brands.
Prior to joining L’Oréal, Saegh-Fleming worked at General Electric where she launched the company’s “ecomagination” campaign and web site in China.
