PARIS — L’Oréal was granted the Governance Award at the “Annual General Meeting” Grand Prix 2015 ceremony here on Wednesday.
Created a decade ago by Capitalcom, an independent communications consultancy, the prize sets out to highlight and reward the best practices of listed companies in the fields of AGM and governance. The jury that selected the winners based its decisions on about 100 AGM evaluation criteria.
“This award recognizes our efforts in terms of transparency and pedagogical approach to sharing our strategy and the work of the board and its committees to our shareholders and stakeholders,” stated Jean-Paul Agon, L’Oréal chairman and chief executive officer. “We are determined to continue along this path of dialogue and trust with our investors, in order to enhance the group’s attractiveness and reputation.”
The “Annual General Meeting” Grand Prix 2015 ceremony is part of the Paris Europlace International Finance Forum.
