PARIS — Paco Rabanne held an event in Paris on Thursday night to celebrate the winner of its third Invictus Award, named after the label’s blockbuster men’s scent that launched in 2013.

The Puig-owned label runs the Invictus-related competition, which airs in a reality-show format on YouTube. The most recent season featured 10 male athletes from an equal number of countries and disciplines who lived together and competed to win 50,000 euros, or $55,550 at current exchange, to help fund a sports-related, socially involved project.

Viewers of the contest chose the laureate, Italy’s Mario D’Amico, whose specialty is skiing. The prize will enable him to create free ski camps for children in the Italian mountains.
