QVC is teaming with CEW for the fifth year in a row for its Beauty With Benefits event, a charitable program that donates 80 percent of proceeds from purchased merchandise to the foundation’s Cancer and Careers program.

“Beauty companies get involved because it’s a cause that resonates with everyone,” said Carlotta Jacobson, president at CEW. “Cancer survivors want to return to their everyday life and Beauty With Benefits is making that happen.”

The event, which will air Thursday on QVC at 6 p.m. and on Beauty iQ at 8 p.m., features prestige color cosmetics, fragrance, skin and hair care from 24 brands including MAC, Dior, Shiseido, Laura Geller and Dr. Dennis Gross, among others. Along with the 80 percent donation, QVC is asking customers to donate $1, which will go directly to the charitable program. Customers will also receive a six-piece gift with purchase valued at $83.

“Beauty With Benefits aligns with QVC’s charitable mission to support the success and wellness of women through the power of relationships,” said Rachel Ungaro, vice president of merchandising at QVC. “Together with CEW and our incredible lineup of beauty brands, we will prove that a little makeup can make a big difference in the lives of those affected by cancer.”
