BERLIN — Nivea face Rihanna’s latest release “California King Bed” will feature in a soon-to-be-launched television commercial for the Beiersdorf-owned brand. The crooner will also kick off a two-day birthday bash today with a live concert on a signature blue boat leaving from the brand’s home city of Hamburg.
Guests at the Nivea event, on May 9 and 10, will include customers and bloggers hailing from 50 countries. Attendees will be educated on the history of Nivea, which began in 1911, as well as treated to massages and other spa services.
Beiersdorf is investing heavily in Nivea during this, the brand’s 100th year. It includes sponsoring a tour by Rihanna, who has been making appearances around Europe for the brand this month.
